How You Can Help

1. Comfort Families, Vladimir, Russia, was near and dear to us, before we visited our families this Christmas. They were amazing!  The moms were so appreciative and the kids just precious. Comfort is a revolutionary idea, helping the families keep their children under the age of 6 (the most vulnerable age when kids are placed in orphanages) at home.  $35 a month will support one child with food, clothing, medications, and hygiene products.  You can give a one time donation, or adopt the family for a year. 
2. Treasures provides medical equipment for Vladimir Children's Hospital. Our favorite gift is the neo-natal IV pumps.  The administrator allowed us to enter the neonatal unit this December.  All our pumps were pumping away!  There were over 50 tiny babies, all needing a pump.  
3. Children of the Promise, Cap-Haitien, Haiti, an orphange operated by Bud and Jan Bonema, has touched our hearts.  The Bonemas take in the kids who have been thrown away.  They are considered too ill to waste resources to care for them.  Children of the Promise, against all odds, are living miracles.  Since the earthquake, they anticipate an influx of orphans.  We have provided food and medical support during the month of February.  Our prayer is to be able to continue.   
   
4. Murom Orphanage, Murom, Russia, is an orphanage we were introduced to on our visit last summer.  They have an amazing fine arts program for the kids.  We took an entire orchestra worth of instruments for a different orphanage, only to find God had another home in mind.  The kids were winning contests with flea market instruments.  Imagine the directors glee, and our amazement, when we showed up 'out of the blue' (we had no idea their program was directed toward the arts) with all these new instruments.  Since our visit, we have received reports about the success the kids are having with our gifts.  The director has asked us to help with a greenhouse for the orphanage.
