Have you ever had a happy disappointment? We had one this trip. Our first stop on this mission was Moscow. Originally, we planned to visit children wounded in the Beslan attack who had come to a Moscow hospital for medical treatment. The good news is, the first group of kids have received their treatments and returned home. Of course, it is a disappointment to have missed them, but we are happy they are recovering well enough to return home.

Though the burns and wounds from gunshot and shrapnel have healed, children will continue coming to Moscow for treatment for extensive hearing damage. Who knows? Maybe another door will open for us to help them then. Onward…

Another door did open, but little did we how a wave would push the door open.  We were just a couple of miles from the hospital in Moscow when God showed us where we to use the funds we had raised for the Beslan kids.
