Praise Report from Sulzdal, Russia
May 25, 2007 What an amazing surprise we received today. Vitaly told us the new director at Barskoe Gorodische had invited him to the anniversary. Never did we dream it would be a true celebration. We can only surmise with all the improvements God has allowed us to accomplish over the last 8 years, the government now sees the value of this orphanage. They are spending bolshoy rubles (big $) remodeling the school, what a blessing for our kids. Our next project will be to buy power tools and equipment to complete the woodworking shop they have built. This has been a long time dream of Treasures to help the kids learn a trade. In the past, there was no one to teach, now a teacher has been hired. As Russia learns free trade, they are improving their buildings and homes, a valuable trade for the kids. |
