2001 Report from Barskoe Gorodishe

New 6 burner stove has been installed!!!
The old stove has been moved to the pig barn.

Barskoe lost 10 of their newborn piglets to the freezing weather.
We love t he way Alex, the director, thinks. He had a solution for saving the remaining piglets.
He assigned each piglet to an orphan, as a bed buddy. The piglets got to sleep with the child
in "their" new bunk bed & feather duvet!!!

New Windows for the kitchen and Dorm #1
|
The kids were
eating at the tables on the left. The chairs were
worn-out from years of use. Each visit, Alex would take us
into the kitchen and show us the tables and chairs. We
told him to pray and we would pray...but no money came. All
the while, God was working another plan, the tables and chairs
were provided through another group, saving our funds for
the bigger projects. |
